1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rolehue (“the Service”), operated by Lumina Digital Media LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rolehue.

2. Description of Service

Rolehue provides anonymous salary benchmarking data based on user-submitted salary information. We aggregate individual submissions into statistical benchmarks (percentiles, medians) and display them publicly. Individual salary submissions are never displayed or attributable to any user.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during signup and salary submission.
• You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate benchmarks.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Salary Submissions

• By submitting salary data, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to use, aggregate, and display the anonymized data.
• Submissions must reflect real compensation you have personally received. Fabricated data harms the community and violates these terms.
• We reserve the right to flag, review, or remove submissions that appear fraudulent (statistical outliers beyond 3x IQR are automatically excluded from public benchmarks).
• All salary data is stored pseudonymously — your identity is not linked to your submissions in our database.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Rolehue without written permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious salary data.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to deanonymize or re-identify other users’ salary submissions.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Rolehue name, logo, website design, methodology, and aggregated benchmarks are the intellectual property of Lumina Digital Media LLC. You may reference Rolehue data with proper attribution. Republishing aggregated benchmarks at scale requires written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of salary benchmarks. Salary data is based on user submissions and statistical methods — it should not be the sole basis for career or compensation decisions.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumina Digital Media LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumina Digital Media LLC, its officers, and employees from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Salary data already aggregated into benchmarks cannot be removed (as it is anonymized and unlinkable).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
